DTR 8510
Digital ratiometer for transformers
The DTR 8510 is a portable digital ratiometer for testing power, voltage and current transformers.
When connected to an uncoupled transformer, the DTR 8510 accurately measures the primary-to-secondary transformation ratio, while also indicating the polarity and excitation current.
The DTR 8510 is totally automatic and uses a test method which complies with the ANSI/IEEE standard. Users are not required to perform any calibration or balancing.
During each measurement, the DTR 8510 self-calibrates automatically and checks:
- Open circuits, windings, connections and cut-off circuits,
- Short-circuits (excessive value of excitation current),
- Incorrect connection of the test cables,
- Polarity reversals.
The measurements are displayed quickly and accurately.

T-Rex R
The T-Rex R is the same instrument as the T-Rex, but built into a 19″ rack housing.
Therefore, it can be used very well in test labs or be assembled into complete measurement systems. The T-Rex R three phase voltage extension is an optional system accessory for 3-Phase transformer ratio meter test sets designed by Raytech (i.e. TR-Mark III). The T-Rex R was designed to give Engineers and Test Technicians the ability to test the phase relationships and actual voltage ratios of transformer windings while applying three phase voltage.

TR-1
The TR-1 turns ratio meter was designed to be a rugged and reliable automatic transformer ratio meter for accurate readings with on-site laboratory precision.
This system will test ratios to 4000:1. The design of this test system is based upon the popular Raytech Automatic Three Phase test set: TR-Mark III.
There is no maintenance required. There is no calibration procedure (No potentiometers to turn), due to the utilization of high precision components in the design.
Advanced Protection: Upon powering on, the system initializes itself with a self-calibrating, circuit checking sequence. If any problems are detected during this initialization period, or during operation, the operator is immediately notified. The system constantly monitors the condition of the transformer under test. The TR-1 can even recognize shorted leads and will terminate the test without any damage to the test equipment.
